When editing, pacing and timing are right, a video feels natural. With attention to detail and the right instinct, videos are created that tell a story.
Hi, I'm Lena. I'm a video editor, based in Germany and the founder of Iris Video. I found my passion for editing video material at a young age. A lot has changed since Windows Millennium and Windows Movie Maker though.
I've been through a fair bit of the transformation in the world of video editing: from MAGIX Video Deluxe through Corel VideoStudio to Wondershare Filmora. Later I switched to Adobe Premiere Pro and worked my way into Adobe After Effects. These days I mostly work in DaVinci Resolve. Depending on the project, I'm always happy to adapt to different workflows and the relevant software.
I look forward to hearing from you — whether you're a company, a private individual, or a solo freelancer. Every project brings something new to learn. Even though I primarily specialise in medical and pharmaceutical content, I'm always happy to take on projects outside my comfort zone.
As a software developer, you sometimes wear all the roles at once: victim, investigator, suspect and perpetrator. On this project that means building the platform, maintaining it, and debugging it when something breaks.
I designed and launched this website and as the technical contact I'm also the one who looks into things when something isn't right. Which considerably improves the solve rate and explains why I'm sometimes still online at night.
